I have been using the older G4 2 speed clutch springs they are a bit stiffer tahn teh ones that came in the first kits.I believe the later kits have a stiffer spring.

As for me .i just got in from a 5 hour drive after finishing the nationals.
Had a awesome weekend even though I had a some engine troubles and lack of track time.
arrived at nats on Friday at midday and started prepping car and getting batteries etc. charged.
They had controlled practice and only managed 2 tanks of practice.
Lucky enough my setup was good with a little understeer in corners and oversteer out of corners.Decided to run a front spool instead of diff up front seeing Muppet/Daz has been using it.
Ran 42F and 40r tyres and car was very good.
In qualifiers yesterday i got a good run on the board with a 3rd place in my heat with 23rd overall.
Things started falling apart in the 2nd and 3rd heat as i had my engine stall waiting for the start of my races and had to start from pitlane.
Before 4th and final heat i added a shim to my engine and did a quick retune and had a awesome final run but was hampered by traffic.I was stuck behind a slower car but was not going to take a chance pushing past him as i wanted a good finish ,in hind sight i should have pushed as i missed a 15 lapper by .1sec which would have placed me in Bmains but settled for 8th is Cmains.There was just over 3 seconds seperating 9 guys ,that was close racing.
In my main i got a good start and got up to 2nd on the start and then had a guy rear end me ,dropped me back to 7th.
Made up places and took 1st place after 10min mark and was steady pulling a lead untill i made a stupid mistake trying to pass a back marker.I took a tighter line into the main straight and clipped the apex flipping on my roof.
The marshall got me back on the track qiuck enough but had ripped my rear wing off on one side and the car was a handfull to drive.managed to keep going till next pit stop dropping down to 3rd by now and shouted for my pit guy to pull wing off.This was my biggest mistake ,as i entered the back staright the backend started whipping and i hit teh side pipes ripping off the left rear a-arm.
All in all I had teh car dialled but made one mistake too many that cost the race
Am chuffed though as I had the car running awesome
So on to my next club meet ..........
