thats a prototype picture from the factory, I don't have one yet but soon.
the big change is the top deck and steering. the battery has been moved to the side to balance the car from right to left. the reciever now resides under the top deck where battery used to mount on a cradle bracket. the throttle servo and steering servo have been moved back so the steering servo won't crash the bulkhead. the rear belt tensioner has been moved under the bottom of the rear belt on the slack side where it should be. the car has the new bellcrank steering and a real servo saver spring. This also improves the ackerman of the steering for better corner speed. The car has black spur gears and good k factory low friction belts.(we tested these the latter part of the season and never had to replace one again) the car has the UFO clutch system and lightweight mainshaft. The car has carbon shocktowers now. All the parts have been revised so that everything is aligned perfect, bolt holes shaft holes etc. The car has k factory hardened axles and the issue with the axle hubs some cars had is fixed. the rear axles have been shortened some as theior was some issues with the rear axles being almost to long. the front one way is all alloy now including the gear and is one piece. the front oneway has provisions to pin the stubs to make it a solid axle. the issue with the two speed adjusting screws being a tad to long has been addressed. The chassis is new to accomodate the new steering system. the car has the one piece motormount to stiffen the car some more and to preserve pinion to two speed alignment. the location for an on off switch now resides where the reciever used to be. The reciever packs now come in the car kit and you can use a larger MAH rated pack and its easier to change in back to back races. these are many of the changes to the base car G4S. Its almost a shame not to give it a whole new designation other than G4 as its radically different than it was.

Just here to give the world grief.
I know this keeps getting asked but I gotta do it again.
Where there be an upgrade path (reasonably priced) for those of us who already have the prior versions of the car and upgrade parts (S-class gears, ufo clutch, etc.)
If so, will there be various packages to accomodate most popular current setups?
I have 2 g4's today and I really don't wanted to have to buy a brand new kit to have a G4S.
