Roar will adopt anything as long as the people in the inner circle are using it.

The manufacturer horsepower rating not known. Anyway, most of the time, different manufacturers use different bench marks, not advisable to follow them to compare between brands and makes.

This is rated 7 stars over the older RB X12 of 6 stars... some substaintial gain in horse power over there!

Guess it's because of the multi port thingy... more efficient expulsion of exhaust and more effective intake of fuel...

Guess you guys haven't heard of Dennis' 9 port smallblock .12. ;)

Kaliboy 10-14-2001 09:03 PM

yeah...I've got one on order already. My richey motor finally died and now I'm looking for another motor that has close to or similar power. I'm sure its' still gonna be slower but hey...something new to try. Maybe I'll just run an RTO...or maybe the Eagle! Anyways...I've got 2 RB X12's sitting on my desk as paperweight. I still haven't decdied what I'm gonna do with them. Maybe..i'll get out the dremel and try experimenting.

Wouldn't hurt to try out... ;)

I have an RTU sitting in the box still. Wondering if I should put in the GT4 but then again, I don't want to risk wearing my 2 speed pin. :(

I just bought the engine and finished breaking it in. Got excited and ran it on my street in front of my house. Definately SCREAMS! Probably the fastest off the shelf engine. Luckily I managed to get the last engine my Local Hobby Shop had left. They ordered 15 and by the next day they sold all but 1, and i bought the last one. They should be getting more this week though. if any of you wants to get one, then you can contact Ace Hardware Hobbies in Millbrae, CA at www.ace-hobbies.com .
