I have a HPI RS4 type 3... It has the .12 x-star???I need to know where I can get a new pull start/recoil from.. Also what should the stock settings be on the carb... I don't know much about them and am new to nitro.... I know their are two screws... One on top the carb and one on the side? What are these two and how many turns out from the closed possition should they be for stock settings. thanks for any INFO...

Try for the fuel needle 4 turns out from close then work back by checking temps and performance. As far as the one on the side just put it flush with the side and work from there with idle sound and performance.
