Default OS TZ .12

is this engine any good?i wanted to get a affordable back up engine for my serpent 710....any opnions?...kitty

if you look down threads a little (like 10 threads) i have a thread on this engin... called differences in 3-5 port engines...USE THE SEARCH

This is also in the nitro engine zone. They have a thread for the OS TZ engine. I do like the engine. It is competitive. The parts are also cheap compare to others.

i wanted a good affordable engine for my serpent 710.....so i heard very good things about this engine...kitty

SMOOOOKIN IS THE WAY THIS ENGINE RUNS .I HAVE YET TO BE PULLED ON ON THE STRAIGHT BY ANY MOTOR INCLUDING MAX 12,RODY ETC.

The only thing out this motor that bothers me is that is does not like to accept certain turbo plugs from other manufacturers. You pretty much have to use OS turbo plugs, which costs a couple of dollars more than other brands. I still love this mill, regardless!!!

I understand that OS has a pipe out specifically designed for optimal performance for the 12tz. I don't know the number/name of their pipe. I have been using Mugen's pipe (the $110 one) and it has been working great with my 12tz.

THATS TRUE ABOUT THE PLUGS BUT THEY DO LAST LONGER THAN MOST OTHER PLUGS.RUN THE P6 THIS IS WHAT IT COMES WITH TRIED P7 NOT AS SNAPPY.

hi guys...currently i'm running a nova and an Os-tr..both r 5ports..

anyway having a thought to try the tz 3 ports...questions is can i at least keep up wit the tz 5 port...thanks
