vintage Shu Cat

I bought one of the RTR Losi Gas buggies and with much of a Tech upgrade I'm left with the Engine... I cannot get it to perform so I wanted to know if anyone know if this buggy is a directly compatible with a Nitro setup. What other mods aside from gas tank may be needed?
