Yes. Around 10 years ago Schumacher had a 3 speed touring car with a .21 engine in. Used to do about 90mph.

Why? the smaller .12 and .15 do run the same RPM, if you want to have a bennefit of an .21 you do need different gears outside from what is available.
But there is a .21 and a .26 smallblock called Picco P2-max

................Follow this link illmatic94 there is a ton of picture and articles on putting a .21 in a 1/10 chassis. Here is the link...http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-r...me-inside.html Just be prepared to do alot of hand fitting of parts and making your own parts.

Ive been stuffing 21s into 1/10 sedans since the early 2000s and now stuffing bigger motors into them. We've done 28, 30 and 32s. Its awesome for speed runs but useless on any track. The torque of the bigger motor will overpower any track and you'll be all over the place. As ROELOF said, a 12, 15 or 18 will yield the same RPM which is good for track since its low torque. I personally do speed runs and benefit from the RPM/torque combination that the 21s and larger supply which no small block can give me. But here's the trick into finding a car do accomplish this and if you look at the 2 RTR cars mentioned, youll see what Im talking about. The bigblock can be stuffed into just about any car as long as the belt that drives the front wheels does not run on the left side of the chassis. Like mostly all track proven sedans do. On the Fusion, the belt runs down the center, on the CEN, its on the right and on the cars we've done, the RS4-2 is on the right as well as the 4tec.

Fitted a .21 from a HPI savage into a RS4-3 years ago, really easy but pointless.
Screwed up handling, didn't go much better and was very thirsty so the little touring car tank of fuel didn't last long.
Was a fun experiment anyway.
