Help with batt discharging
I have a Tx pack that sat around for a long time unused. Thought I'd try to get it back to working. It's a 1500mah pack, 6 xAA NiMH. I peak-charged it at .5a for a couple hours until it peaked, tried to use it the next day, and radio complained about under-volt.
Threw it on the charger to discharge it, .6a. ran about 45 minutes or so, 463mah, and there was a quiet spot on TV, when I noticed the pack was making a sound like, no kidding, Rice Krispies (the snap, crackle, pop).
Any ideas? Pack was NOT even warm to the touch or anything.
Stopped the DCH, and about 3-4 minutes later, it stopped making the noise.
