To take a part of an ENS which is actually a small Worlds with many topdrivers you only have to pay 40 euro and on top of that the handout tires.
To take a part at an Ifmar worlds you have to be a clubmember with a national licence with an EFRA licence (if you live in Europe) and the you have to pay the starting fee. Lets say you need to pay about 350~400 euro to take a part and then there is the possibillity only if you are selected by rankings....

I'm with you Roelof,
To think how well the ENS series is doing, and given that Uwe and crew have done such a good job, then look back on the disappointing (coverage, and organization) of the last Worlds in Brazil, it's a shame.
On another note, looking at the rankings listing, there were quite a few Infinity cars present
