Please confirm the rules for the GT class. I'm a little disappointed that this is being changed 1 1/2 weeks before the race. Especially for the out of town racers who have paid for airfare and hotels. Please clarify what the rules are going to be so I can make plans. Personally I would have liked to have seen this set in stone months ago but understand the movement to 5 ports. Prior to making plans to attend this race the question was asked about the rules. If it is restricted to 5 ports I'd like to see if the driver count is going to fall off or stay the same.

Few questions out of curiosity only
Why the change and why now? Why not implement next race for ample time to be ready for it?

I heard that cost is a consideration hence the change but I can always get an ison and have it modded by murnan. So it is still legal and the sponsored racers will always have the advantage there too. Just thought that running gt like the 1/8 with open motors would add variety and options for racers with or without a budget

BT,Craig, and myself have thrown this race for the last few years so everybody could come out race some good competition and have a fun without stressing out. I understand that this change was short notice guys and I apologize. We would prefer that racers ran a 5 port in the GT class but at the same time we understand that some racers don't have a 5 port available to them. There will no official tech so there will be no disqualifications if you are unable to run a 5 port. After the Airtronics GP every race held at Greater LA will follow ROAR rules for the GT class. Sorry for all the confusion guys I hope this clears things up a little.
