Easy to bend?

Anyways, I agree that the Integy is easier to read. But I already have the Hudy Ultimate on hold at RC Tech and can't wait to pick it up.

I don't know about the Integy, but I like the Hudy because you get no paralax error when you read from different angles, I imagine this would be a little difficult to do if the thing is not made from a transparent material.
A transparent material would give you a parallax. The Integy won't since you're not trying to look through anything - it's matching a mark on the bottom of a scale to a pointer immediately below it.

And personally, I don't like to make marks on my $100 premium setup tool - I figure that the marks should already be there. . . you know?

3 left? Better get mines soon!

I was there just last Saturday and Sherman pointed out 8-9 sets. Didn't carry enough cash with me that day though.

Correct....if the markings are on the oustide. With the Hudy the marking is on the inside (well other side), so essentially you have the marking of one piece rubbing against the marking of another, they are on the same plain, thus no parallax error!

I have no problems with putting marks on my $100 tools......considering I have to put CA adhesive on my $300 RC car anyway! and thats after I file the hell out of the battery slots

as long as you get one of 'em, you'll be fine
until your car goes BOOM the first time your car goes on the track after you set it up.
Its happened to all of us mortal drivers.

Hmm? I'm too poor, so I say not me! . Do you really think that the whole setup is worth it compared to the Integy one? I mean that their can't be too much of a difference outside of price and materials.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to borrow someone's .

Default set-ups

Man you guys have got it good.....I HAD to pay $250 aussie dollars for my Integy(Eagle) here in Australia wholly and solely
because no-one else had them or even something close.

Hudy, Integy......Doesnt matter! it beats the hell out of a protractor, compass and a straight edge or even worse......estimating with eyesight only.

Whoa boy! Your competition is cheap!!
Oh well I can't talk.
If I had to pay that much...
I think I might split the costs with someone else if I really wanted to. But not yet (I prefer to mooch off of the rich racers )
