My Tekno GTN48 GT car!
Hi guys,
Some of you know me, I been racing GT on and off for 6 years. My home track is LH in Joliet,IL. I just want to say the purpose of this thread is to share something unique I think no one has done yet. And I hope-feel this will be a good car. And their all great cars, I had a DM1, Serpent, and for some reason if this don't work out would go back to one of those.
Its based off a Tekno NB48 nitro buggy, and so far I have not drilled one hole to make things fit. The front DS will be aluminum also, its on the way. The shock towers, and shocks are modified Serpents, the 2 speed is a Team C with RCShox spurs. And I made the motor mounts. My ISON will be here soon, servos, and im ready! Fitting bumpers now. I hope to come race out of town more this year with you all, in TX etc.
Enjoy questions or comments welcome!

Nice
That looks factory made man
Well done
Let us know how it runs
I told tekno to build one and would help with r and d but they were prioritizing the buggy to come out a few months ago

Would the stock shocks fit underneath the body ?
I was thinking of an easy conversion just the bumper 2 speed and mounts to capture the offroad guys to go try gt with an easy conversion
Maybe the front shock tower to be modded but eveything else stock buggy

That's what I'm thinking
If the stock shocks fit the droop screws can lower the ride and the shocks will still function well even with 5-10 mm travel

Awesome project Pete! Can't wait to see videos of this thing running.
Stock shocks fit under the Protoform body no problem, not sure about others. Obviously shorter shocks will be better for COG, etc. but if you want to do a quickie conversion with the stock shocks, that's a possibility.
