Default Engine starting Problems

I have a HPI RS4 3 Evo+ with a 3.0 engine and roto start. I was able to get it started and get the engine broken in according to the manual's instructions and now it won't stay running. the engine is running to rich and i have tried to lean it out but it always dies on me. it's a brand new car so it hasn't been sitting. i swapped out the glow plug and it still has the same problem. i haven't be able to get it running for over a minute. it runs so rich that i can pour out nitro fuel from my exhaust. any help would be much appreciated.

Try leaning the LSN on the carby, and consider a race tune will be slightly rich on the idle tune to cool the engine down when backing off on a lean HSN, so it's not unusual for it to stall after a few seconds without revving and clearing the crank of fuel.

In the event of engine issues like this always reset the carb needles to the factory settings in the manual and retune from there. The default setting should enable you to start the engine and have it idle well. The HSN will be very rich but it should run smoothly.
