Hi Guys,
I built and tested for the first time last weekend the new C802 car. I had only 2 days on the car, but I am really happy so far. For me the new car built very easy compared to the prior car. My only issue was with the brake top part that had to be drilled a little to not have the brake return bind. The rest for me was good. Learning the front end also took me a minute, but is pretty cool looking. I built the car with all the stock parts and only added the heavy battery tray. I used the stock sway bars, shock, pistons, oil, etc.
I ran the car at Kissimmee, Fl which is a higher bite track with some bumps. When I started I could tell right away that the car drove much smoother than the C801, not as twitchy. The car stock did have a little push mid corner. My changes made to help with this was more angle in the rear shocks, went from 60wt to 70 wt shock oil all around. Front mugen white springs and rear Capricorn blue's. I was really happy with the car at this point. There is still a little to gain and I will test more in a couple of weeks. However, for the first time with the car and not much time to make changes I am really happy and think others will be also once they play a little with the set up. It is a smoother drive, but still has steering.
We took the Win in the Forgass State race for the first time out with the car!!!

Here is the set up that I used this past weekend at the Kissimmee track for the Nitro World cup.
Car was easy to drive and pretty fast.
Let me know if you have any questions,

I notice the car comes with the now older style blade type front anti roll bar as standard and no rear radio plate flex items ? Are the rear flex and wire front anti roll bar essential hop ups or is the car fine in standard format?
Also notice there is a front flex system which seems to be top of the servo saver based ? How effective is this ?

I have just purchased, built and run my new C802 and am quite impressed by the car overall. Some questions I have. What is the effect of swapping the front hubs over so you have the 18mm (+1) on the bottom rather than the top?
When testing on a circuit that has some fast sweeping corners I have some initial on throttle understeer (Push) on the exit of these corners with the standard out of the box setup. (Also have chassis flex locked OFF for now) So have to back off the throttle mid corner to allow the car to rotate better. I have good rotation even leading to a hint of snap oversteer on slow speed tight corners. Therefore which way would the advice be to go on geometry to balance the car a little better for the high speed corners ? Tyres being used are 35 rears 32 fronts trued with a 7mm difference between Front/Rear

One question to the top drivers:
On the 802 the standard steering horn need to be replaced by the c03 steering horn?
Is the length bigger? How many more?

It gives the ability to have more degree of steering without binding the steering linkage. It is actually shorter. Still use the adjustable part on the bottom piece.
