What is the schedule for this race - practice days, qualifying, Mains?
how long are your mains?
One reason I do not attend the Byron's race is because the D-main is 10 minutes. To me races should not be all about Amain.

Bill D mains & lower are 20 min
This is preliminary
Dec 3rd open practice
Dec 4th controlled practice 20 min sessions till noon leading into 2 practice seeding rounds
Dec 5th 3rds qualifying possible 4th time permitting
Dec 6th 2rds qualifying lower mains
Dec 7th upper mains,semis,Triple A Mains 20 min

What's up George? What about the food? Last year had good eats . Grandpa Kevco still has not paid up for my steak dinner , I may need another way to get lunch track side .

Official USWNC 2014 schedule
We are pleased to announce that we will be running 4 minute qualifiers that has been a successful system created by the ENS (Euro Nitro Series) drivers will still have 3 minute hot laps before the start of every race
It has created better qualifying not having to truly really on pit stop errors.
Drivers will be able to concentrate more on driving then worrying about a bad pit
So we look forward to everyone in enjoying this enhancement

I'm sure you're going to get some discussion on both sides of this, so here's my two cents.
First, quallifying now has gone from 7 min down to 4 min, almost cut in half.
Next, Pit Stops are a part of racing, especially the mains. With no fuel or fuel guns allowed in practice, how do you practice fueling with your pit man whom is usually not the same person race to race.
Not having to worry about a bad pit stop by eliminating it is like taking out a chicane for quallifying so not to worry about it during quallifying, then putting it back in for the mains??

Brett the biggest issue we all face is runtime there is no way anyone can make runtime in the bigger tracks and yet to see someone on pace to do it at FullThrottleRcRaceway.

Doing this will eliminate running your motors on edge & possibly detonating it
It's working at the ENS I guess we all have to try.

We are not eliminating anyone from practicing with there pitman you still get 3min of hot laps & then 4 minutes of qualifying.

In fact with our program everyone receives plenty of practice everyday so there's plenty of time in the day to practice your pit strategy.

Mains will always be a strategy but getting into to show is the true challenge

I still will be there but... I'm really not feeling the 4 min thing. They do that in the ENS because of the rules they introduced in the last two years. We don't have those rules so I don't see a reason for the four min qualifiers here in the U.S.

The name of the race is the "U.S World Cup," not the ENS World Cup.
