Wildcat Fuels,Baby!!!!!!!!!!

Good God, Harry...this is one kick ass collection...Especially all the Tamiya stuff

I'm 34 and been in and out of the hobby since '87..still own my "original" RC12L - the one with the fiberglass chassis somewhere...plus an original gold tub RC10, RC12i (or e, I forget)

I got thru stages...Have a big "herd" thin it out some, it "grows" again, thin it out again But that's just thining of race cars....collector items are something different - even though I hate to see perfectly good R/C cars sitting on a shelf

I'm 34, started in this hobby in 1986. Use to race a car buggy called the Nikko Rhino. Also got a Tamiya Hot Shot around that time. Left the hobbie when I went to college. Then around 1992 back into it with a Losi JRX-Pro and a RC-10L pan car, both of which I still have. Was out of the hobby again, until my sister-in-law got my brother a HPI RS4-3 2 years ago. Now I'm knee deep into it again. Now I have an RD Logics Mongoose, Yokomo GT-4, Nitro RS4-3, and a RC10-GT. And still looking for more, maybe 1/8th on-road. What a great addiction we have.

In December I'll turn 15, so guess my current age!

I've been in the sport non-stop for about 3 years. 2 seasons ago I used to drive an old Serpent Impact, then I got an Serpent Impulse Pro and started to race a little, starting out the season by driving 24-25 sec laps, and then in the end of the season running even 21-22 sec laps. Then, for this season I got myself an 710, and started out with even 21-laps, but now I got down to even low 19

Thats about 0.7 USD per litre right? That's extremly low compared to the sick Sweden prices (where 70% of the price is taxes). Here we pay about 1.60 USD per litre, which is about 6 USD per gallon.. Thats sick! And this price is for cheap 95 octane blended with some 5-10% ethanol.. Man, sometimes I wish I lived in the US...

Hey, talking about age,...... I'm sure you can't beat this story :

There is new comer in my home track, a 8 years old boy, and he has been practice driving Serpent 710 for mere two weeks. During Nationals race today, That boy has successfully completed his first race, 45 minutes Final A !!!

I personally congratulated him for finishing 8th. His name is Arya. I'll take his photo if I get permision from his daddy.

Racers are finding it tough to get to nationals this year due to petrol prices. I think we will go to regional events to keep the cost down and have one national final at the end of the season

I watch BBC World, petrol price in UK is really expensive, more expensive than in USA. I don't know what other countries have expensive petrol.

In Indonesia, we will pay US $2.28 / gallon per September 2005. The government will banned petrol subsidy...... currently we paid $1.54 / gallon.
