Default Help Car won't Move!?!?

Well I just started it up and when I put on the gas it didn't go anywhere it just stayed there sitting so I shut it off then I tryed restarting it and it did the same thing but shut off itself

Whats the problem?

Its a CD-3

Does the engine rev when you gun it? and do the wheels turn when the car is ideling and the car is lifted off the ground?

Well that happened to me once. The car was running, the engine revved when I hit the gas, the flywheel started spinnig faster, but the car didn't move. If those are your symptoms too than, the problem is your clutch. If you take off the clutch bell, I bet your clutch is glazed over. You could buy a new one, but all I did was use some scotch brite to get rid of the glaze and make it dull again. That did the trick

I think you just encountered a sliding clutch. Remove your clutchbell and look for any sign of oil or grease. clean your clutch bell and your clutch shoe with a sandpaper to remove any sign of grease. Or better yet, just buy a new clutch shoe and replace it.
