Check out Serpent's new site. Looks like they're trying to revive the 235mm class with a Porsche Cup-type series in Europe.

If this is old news, I'll just go park myself in a corner

Consider yourself parked. That's from last year.

Good old days of 235 mm cars & the S40 project...

Thats Milko Tenthof's S40 bodys made by me and painted by me... BTW, Milko used to work at Serpent & yes, he still is a Dale #3 Earnhart fan.

The S40 hasnt been produced in may years now (it was never made by Serpent - it was made in Sweden by me) - it wasnt even possible to make an production run due to low sales/orders... I still have the 10 last produced EVO3 S40 235 mm bodys...

It was fun days in the late 90's.

Niklas,

I have used your articles about this body in the old MyTSN, to mount my old 235 Serpent Calibra body. A pleasure to read these acticles.

How it is posible to get one of these 10 Volvo Evo 3 bodys.

Simple answer: not for sale... If you come by Uppsala with cash I might consider selling one just because you traveled for soooooo long.

I used to do stuff on the old myTSN as we where distributing Serpent also but not now. We dont distribute Serpent anymore... XRAY, FG, HongNor, Traxxas and more RTR cars is enough... And I dont race RC cars any more either...

Impulse and Impact would been easy. Cuz the only diferrance was the out drives, or mounting the wider foams. May have to change a few thing like solid rear diff and frt one-way, and quick change of tires. Mounting 15 or 18 motor ok.

Rims or donut could be hard to find. If you have a Truer, you may find 235 pan car tires from Calandra racing.

The 235mm nitro been gone a while. maybe Europe you'd find some, In US its dead. If you have time and $$$ you can find out if Serpent Vector parts will fit. Sure they do. Got the Impulse, Impact and Vector in front of me. I'm sure not much will change with Serpent Parts between 700 series to the 900 series.
