Hey guys. Serpent have now released the new shock towers to go with the new 411 big bore shocks. Details are here. http://www.serpent.com/news/13906/Op...ocktowers.html

I've been running the shocks since the 411 4.0 was released and let me tell you what a difference these make! Super smooth and extremely easy to build. One of the best things I've found is the repeatability of the shock build and being able to get the rebound equal on all 4 shocks!

In the press release they forgot to mention that there are options for the shocks which make them even smoother! There are low friction guides and pistons.

They are on order. Should be available in about a week.. You can call and pre-order them before they run out.

At the ENS, The top Serpent guys are running the new towers and shocks. Now I'm reading about a new transmission. Any info on this? Is an ENS car model in the future? The suspension and tranny hop ups are going to add up quickly. Happy Friday!

When do you think these up grades will make it into to production to some sort 748 kit. I am looking to build a new car my 748tq needs a new home
I hate to buy a new kit and have to do $200 in up grades when I could wait for a 748X or what ever they want to call the upgrade..

Default New test parts for 748!

The shock towers and shocks are the big bore shocks from electric sedan. They are testing these to see if they are better for all track conditions.

Also the new drive train is being tested! Front Diff pulley is smaller so the other pulleys are changed to maintain same internal ratio of 1.94. Saw both this past weekend in Florida with Paolo Morganti.

Default ABOUT THE NEW SHOCKS

1. is the shaft bigger in diameter?
2. when you close your eyes and feel the shock inward and outward, will you feel the difference compared to the super short shocks of the tq car?
