YES, i `v been running the SANWA ERS-971 on Steering and Throttle for the last year, meaning 12 months. The Sanwa ERS-971 Steering and Throttle servo are powered by my life zippy 700 battery for the last year. Next to that the Reedy Life battery is used on the Steering and Throttle Sanwa ERS-971.
At my local club at least 5 people drive the same combination, but i have to say, that the guy thats the fastest uses the sanwa srg-bls version 2 on steering and throttle, so if you really want buy those..

Bump. Where are you measuring the ride height in the front?

I remove the front plastic bump and measure @ the very front of the chassis.

Hey Dan.. That's where I usually measure. The left side is clear. The right side the servo mount is in the way. You'll see when you finish your build. I think Elliots got the right idea. Although I'm going to hate taking the bumper off every time for an adjustment. It's bad enough I have to deal with the spinning shock caps during collar adjustments. Gotta come up with a cure for that. The shocks were so easy to build, I knew their had to be a downside..
You going to the Forgass Race?

Default TQ diff oils?

What diff oils came in the new TQ car? I heard you need double the thickness in rear. Normal is 300K and 80K. Any difference to start with?

You may want to start with 1 million in the front diff and 150K in the rear diff on the new diffs. At least 600K in the front if you don't have 1 million. Very important that you don't overfill/over tighten the new diffs as well.

We always setup the car with rims without tire on it (grind tal the rubber of), then we use a ride height in the front of 0.5mm and rear 1mm, i never measure and just feel if its ok.

For the shocks, the adjustment collar has a silicone o-ring in it, it has to much friction, just cut it in 3 pieces and only put 1/3 in the collar, now it will rotate smoother.

I'll try that mod first! Thanks. I have spare shocks to experiment. Don't want to take a chance of the collar backing off on its own during a long main.

It does not backoffduring racing, been doing that for a long time and won a lot off races with it.

Start with 3/4, then 1/2, and 1/4 of the o-ring to try..
