Regarding gearing and clutch setup. Which is your preferred?
I'll be running the same motor as you. Thanks again for all the help. Michal
Yes. Everything you need (except engine, pipe and radio of course) is in the kit. Set it all up as per the manual and you'll be good to go.

Default Set up

Thank Dan for the help. I'm sure I'll be checking in as I build it as its my Christmas gift this year. I wanted to get a car and be in a class that is more competitive as not a lot going on in terms of the 1/8 scale. Thanks again

Great. Enjoy the build and the car. It really is very good. I prefer 1/10 scale over 1/8 at the moment as personally I find it's more of a drivers class where the driver can make a real difference. 1/8 is more of a power class in my opinion. I love them both but 1/10 has my heart at the moment!

Default 1/10 vs 1/18

Yeah I can see that. The 1/8 scale motors have a lot of torque.but the handling of the 1/10 scale is very important and the race line plays a huge factor.

Give Serpent America a call. I'm sure they'll be able to help you track down a local stockist.

Default Baltimore.

Thanks for the heads up. And all the info. I'll keep you posted. I'm heading back to Baltimore from Hk on tues and then Christmas. So I'll be building the moment the box opens. I'm sure I'll be asking questions. Thanks again.

Happy holidays to everyone and their families.

Default Tires Natrix 748

Any recommendations on tires and wheels I should be using. I need a lot of grip as I'll be running a NV Virtus. Thanks in advance.

Very difficult to advise you on this without knowing the surface and mechanical grip available to you. As a starter for ten I usually go with 35 or 37 rears with 32 or 35 fronts. It really depends on the situation. Any of the big brands matrix/contact/hot race etc are all good. Be careful with lightweight rims if you are likely to hit things as those rims are really fragile and will break very easily.

I'm using Japanese Zac, front 26mm Super Hard, rear 37 shore.
The lap time is 0.4 sec faster than Xceed/ Enetti.
Not sure is it available in states, or you can check out the model shop in far east.

I'm building my Natrix.. I noticed D. Greiners interview on RedRc and I'm wondering where his transponder is located. I want a little more room on the radio tray for a connector like he did. Does anybody run the aero discs?
