Jamison R. The part # for the "Flex system" is 903576. You can find it here http://serpent.com/product/903576/. It consists of 2 small bearings, cone washers and flat head screws. You can't just place 2 screws in that area, and expect it to operate correctly.

Hmmmm interesting. I think this part is used for the 977 only . If there are inserts I think it would be included with part number 804355. Unfortunately there are no pics of this part.

Pass you soon...

This looks very interesting. I hope it does fit the flex system on the 748.

No that will not fit. The 748 flex system is similar but uses smaller bearings screws and top shim.

Flex System 748 is P/N: 804355 as it's an option part as specified in the manual so I'm assuming it will have the extra bits needed (over the kit supplied parts 804330 & 804339)

Well the natrix is finished and ready to go on the setup board. The car went together perfectly with no issues with the fit and finish. Superb just as I expect from Serpent.

Only issue I do have is that the throttle servo horn hits the radio box near full throttle. Trouble is I can't get my servo (Sanwa SRG-BLS v2) further in towards the centre of the car no matter what I try shimming etc. Anyone else have the same/similar issue? I'm thinking I'll need to try a different servo with a shallower gear case?

My car servo arm is close but set my sub trim to just get close to rx box. Then adjust linkage to get full throttle. Your not going to be able to move servo in towards tank.

I just had my first test and tune with the 748 and all I can say is WOW!!!!
This car is extremely quick in the turns. My final weight with Li-fe battery lp servos 1 futaba and 1 Hitec with 25 gram bias weight 1695 grams. I want to thank all of the Serpent team drivers that contributed the Natrix 748 project.

Pass you sooner...

I've ended up changing the servo horn to a sanwa horn and with a bit of dremel work made it find nicely. I wanted to keep the horn at a slight bias to the rear to maximum pull on the brakes. I will have another play with the stock horn and linkage lengths etc after my first runs with the car.

The inserts from the 977 fits perfectly. I have been using them with no issues.
