Merlin fuel USA ,RCShox,LRP andTeamC teamed up together with Marcus Williams and Tony Luna to kick off a GT8 pro tour for this summer!!Round one was a total success! Tony and I loaded up the truck friday night and hit the road for a 6hour drive headed to Brownsville Tx! We spent the entire day saturday bench tuning all that switched to Merlin fuel as well as setup chassis work. We were rewarded with an incredible BBQ dinner and Joe's crib (phenomenal ribs!!), kicked back a few beers and talked til around midnight or so Sunday morning the work continued as the track was setup (temporary parking lot track) and we spent the morning track tuning and giving away product, T shirts, free fuel, tires etc etc! It was a busy day for Tony and i but well worth it! there were no flame outs and everyone was happy with their new found power! And to top it off Tony and I tore the track up with me grabbing TQ and fast lap record while Tony bought home the win with an epic back and forth battle that ended with me running out of fuel with 30sec to go!!

It truly was an amazing weekend and all you guys are top notch!!

I want to first Thank the owners of Full Throttle RC Shop, Jaime and Robert for their support and for giving us the opportunity to work with them.

Second the Brownsville RC Touring Club is an Awesome Club with Great members. You guys keep pushing each other to get better and the getting faster will get easier.I have to give a Huge Thanks to Mr Joe Ortiz, for your hospitality and commitment to your club and shop. The BBQ on Saturday was the best we ever had! We made so many new friends and fellow GT8 racers, it was amazing! It was one of the best weekends I have had an really long time. I get no better reward then to see all of us learning, improving and having pure clean fun racing RC cars.
