Default OFNA X3 GT SERIES

OK it's time for another OFNA GT car to bring into the year and this one is sure to catch alot of eyes for speed runs and circuit racing, introducing the X3 GT in nitro and electric. We will have an RTR car along with an 80% car, for you to choose, those gose for both nitro and electric and we already have some of the options as the X3 buggy Pro shares some of the options. The body is a spectacular look and does the job of speed and cornering.

Here's the Facebook page with techs-specs and picture. Enjoy.

Nice body! Looks like it has lower CG than the current GTP2 and has a front kick-up chassis. I wonder if the parts are interchangeable? How does this compares to kyosho and serpent?

Very nice. Maybe there will be ones of these at the Airtronics Race in LA? I would like to look it over.

Craig Kaplan was driving the prototype at the last GLARCRC club race...the car looked great, I think OFNA is gonna be another fierce competitor in GT this year!!

owning a gtp and gtp2 i am not seeing a whole lot of interchange to this maybe the 2 speed and possible dogbones bumpers (foam) and defuser look like they are straight off the dm1

I agree, and not much crosses over from the DM-1, but closer to the GTP family.

This one has a front kick-up chassis.

Is the fiberglass disk brake better than vented steel disk brake? If so, that's one upgrade I can do to my gtp2!

That's awesome! Looks like a good car I really like the aggressive angles on the suspension. This is going to be a fast car!

Most of the longer mains seem to do much better with the steel brakes but I am a very firm believer that brakes are to each his own. I've used both and like both but I am only using breaks to bleed off a little speed. Some like em to lock up and that's not me. Play with both but over the long run I think the steel are more consistent with a decent pad.

If it has front kickup, that means that OFNA decided to do some conforming to what is being dictated as industry standard. No use of have a player in the game (DM1/DM1-Spec) that will have to sit on the sidelines and watch the others play.

I would prefer a kit rather than 80%, but I'm interested.

Looks cool. What up with the e clips on the inner hinge pins? A little dated no? What the street price going to be?
