How do you plan to cut the air vent holes ? To the wind shield or the top scoop?
Good question I can't decide what to do. She looks too pretty to chop her up.

With this design I wouldn't be surprised that just cutting the top scoop would work. I plan to buy this body and try it out so will post results.

I was also thinking about refueling .........

What size tank? 125 from the buggy or a full 150cc?

I suggest cutting half of the front windshield for the perfect look. But will it be illegal in national race?

I know Hong Nor offers several versions of the X3 buggy, with the 2.0 pro version being the latest. Can someone from Ofna (R2 maybe??) confirm which of the Sabre versions the GT is based on?
- Does the kit have a 7075 chassis?
- Does it have 7075 shock towers?
- 7075 on all 4 hingepin mounts?
- Does it use the metal bearing insert in the diff cases?
- CVDs front, rear and center?
- Does it use the V2 shocks?
If it is based on the 2.0 car I'll place my order now! I have no idea if the body will work -- but it looks great!

Well it come with a 125 and it look really clean and have fuel line clips which I like a lot but I am afraid I will not make 5 min. I also have the 150 tank from the Violator but that tank is ugly but I might have to use it.

I don't understand .. after the failed and discontinued GTv2( now team c) they take the x3 buggy (which was another flop)and add a 2 speed tranny then push it off as another GT racer?
And expect you to buy all the upgrades?
I will pass on this and keep my trusty igt and dm-1.

Why not wait for the results of the Airtronics race this coming weekend ?? The demise of the GTv2 is a result of the lack of 'kickup' for the new ROAR rules. The TeamC/GTv2 really turned well. I'm afraid that since the new Sabre X3 GT is advertising 10 and 12 degree caster options coming up, Kyosho may be in more trouble on the track.

An awful lot of racers are going to get the 'upclose and personal' view of OFNA's new GT weapon !!
