Default Raptor - tuning

I,ve just got a raptor monster truck and i've run it in. i'm just looking for a few tips on tuning it. When I do finally get it started it ticks over alright most of the time but when I open it out a bit the revs die and it conks out.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Carpy

when at idle does the engine sound like a gurgally low noise or a higher pitched noise? If its low and a bit gurgally its probably to rich lean it up a bit with the hs needle by turning it 1/8 a turn at a time clockwise till u get a comfortable idle but dont go too far. If its the noise is higher try turning it counter clockwise 1/8 a turn till u get a comfortable and d stable rev. Also check ur glow plug. If its bad replace it. u could always try using a colder filament glow plug when u replace it. that might be the case because of the hot weather... I think its the glowplug cause htats the useal case.
