Those look very similar to the new GRP tires. I tried the GRPs at Airtronics GP last year for a few laps but put my Sweeps back on for quals and race. They were 'okay' for practice type laps but felt more sure of the Sweeps.

The new GRPs did not like Billy's beautifully prepared track surface at Speedworld in Roseville, CA. That type tread is great for the 'parking lot surface'.

It will be interesting to find out what rim material they use for 'durability'. Depending on price, I'd be game but I do really like the economy of the GRPs for 'playing'.

I know I am ready for some 1/8 GT action. Check out the video from last weekend's 1/8 GT Panamerican Grand Prix in Florida. Look at how these cars move around the corners and down the straight..........Man, you can't beat the realism of these cars on the track. Pure awesomeness!!!
