can i fitt 190mm shells on a 200mm chassis?
sorry for all these stupid noob questions but im just trying to get a know how. ive seen a few shells that i like but theyre in 190mm or 230mm width and i have a 200mm car. can these shells still fit??

i think some cars have conversion kits to go bigger to 235mm. theoretically, you need to lengthen your car on each side by 17.5mm. so if you kept the car stock and put a 235mm body on it, you would just have a 17.5mm gap on both sides... it would probably work, just not be too efficient.

In general, the 190mm bodies will fit a 200mm car. If you use 24mm tires and wheels with zero offset and make your car as narrow as you can. The best way to check is to put the tires and wheels on your car and measure across the front and rear. Take the tape measure to the LHS and measure the body you want to get. I know many MFG's make there bodies quite a bit wider then the actual track width because the additional width increases the available downforce.
