sorry for all these stupid noob questions but im just trying to get a know how. ive seen a few shells that i like but theyre in 190mm or 230mm width and i have a 200mm car. can these shells still fit??

what would it take to fit the 230mm shell?

I dont think you can fit a smaller on a bigger body. But you can do a bigger on a smaller. Not sure about the 235 though on the 200.

I know electrics can put 200mm on their 190. Thats all I know that can be done otherwise someone else will have to answer that.

i think some cars have conversion kits to go bigger to 235mm. theoretically, you need to lengthen your car on each side by 17.5mm. so if you kept the car stock and put a 235mm body on it, you would just have a 17.5mm gap on both sides... it would probably work, just not be too efficient.

Best to stick with 200mm. There are plenty to choose from & you will compromise your cars handling if you go to any other size. You could narrow your car up a bit to run the 190, but why bother?

190 on 200 chassis...sure why not, if you just use those for LOOKS only....remind me those low-rider truck, dropped the suspension to ground, and with hugh offset of their tires so they can ruin their axles....

In general, the 190mm bodies will fit a 200mm car. If you use 24mm tires and wheels with zero offset and make your car as narrow as you can. The best way to check is to put the tires and wheels on your car and measure across the front and rear. Take the tape measure to the LHS and measure the body you want to get. I know many MFG's make there bodies quite a bit wider then the actual track width because the additional width increases the available downforce.
