Did you get a car for Nigel?

The LCG chassis is a nice option.Keep the car super stiff. But the car still work fine with the stock chassis. Have Nigel wear the stock chassis out and then replace it with the LCG.

I agree the new chasis kicks ass.
Has anyone tried different clutch shoes? It looks like the Kyosho clutch shoe should fit. thanks

Default kyosho clutch shoe

The Kyosho/Delta type shoe will fit but it is thinner than the standard Serpent centrifigual weight and it requires different spacing to prevent the centrifigual shoe from being thrown out.

No Chris, I couldnt get work off to make it. I'll be at Rams on sunday for a practice day though. (which i really need) . Thats the one bad thing about racing in the Bay area, we dont have a permanent track. When its race day, we all are scrambling to make the main rather then test anything new..
How are you? Try anything new on the car?

That sucks.

I'm doing good. I haven't ran my 960 too much lately, I've been running sedan and a little bit of 1/8 buggy. I'm looking forward to finally getting to run this weekend. It's been awhile. If I find anything new, I'll be sure to let you know.

Default 960 Not Shifting

Whats up ya'll, I got question for ya. I've only driven my new 960 only for break-in so far but it is not shifting to 2nd in the back stetch or anywhere for that matter. I started with the basic setup and have since taken it appart about 5 times to readjust the 'shift point' screws. Nothing changes when I do this. What am I doing wrong...possible problems???
Thanks

Check how tight the 2 speed shoes are within the aluminum clutch bell. It should spin freely but not have too much free space. See step 5.4 in the manual.

Well let's hope they will stick with the 960 for a while.....

But even for you upgrading to a new 950R, is a HUGE step forward compared to your Vector, believe me.......

I believe you!
i think i got a quite good default setup now and seems working good on our old track. I have mounted a wing on my body

Is Mugen gonna release a new car until next season? I wonder because a "friend" of mine is always buying the newest released car. I asked him if he knewed if any 950/950-R was for sale.. then he told me to wait after this season then he's 960 will be for sale.. so i wonder what car he is going to buy next?

What will be the biggest differences if i am going to upgrade to a 960?
