Cool New myTSN articles

Hi folks !

It's been a while since I wrote some articles in my column on myTSN, so I have posted a few of them recently:

S960 LCG Chassis Set (903191)

New Serpent 903199 Flyweights

Serpent 960 Switch Mount (updated mount plate for mech & Kyosho switches)

I will soon be posting another article about... well, you'll just have to wait to read it, but I guarantee it'll be very interesting for S960 owners.

Cheers, all !

Default My car was awesome today

We had a light turn out due to Mother's day and we ended up having a test and tune day so I had an opportunity to try a lot of different things that I have been wanting to try for a while. By the end of the day the car was by far the best it had ever been. The track was green with no traction compound on it.

Here is what I ended up with for a set-up

Front
Red springs
45 weight oil
shocks in the lower hole
sway bar flat
long wheel base
2 degrees of toe out
droop = 0

rear
grey springs
50 weight oil
shocks in the highest position - I tried all the positions including going directly to the rear bulkhead on the top shock mount screw and the top position was far better
rear bar stiff
2.5 degrees of toe
lower roll center pin in the middle position - I had been running the upper position. I also tried the low position but the car did not have enough rear traction and let go unexpectedly in the low position.
droop 9mm

I let a number of 960 drivers try my rear shocks with the grey springs & 50 weight and everyone of them liked the way their car worked with these on their car.
