If you use the stand-up throttle servo, mount your transponder on the receiver mount for the laydown set-up.

i can't do that because the transponder is not mine,i use the club's transponder

but i use the stand up position for throttle servo(it's better and more easy ton install)

Serpent offers 2 transponder mounting brackets.

The first is #1610 for the older style transponders that are mounted with a body clip. Go to this link for picture and description.

The second is #1666 for the newer smaller personal transponders. Go to this link for picture and description.

Rumour is, Serpent will release one for the 960. In the meantime, I use the Mugen MRX-4 transponder.

Default Compare JP 2031 with Mega 2033

I was able to almost completely straighten out my JP 2031 muffler using the 'freeze' trick but of course it's never perfect. I have a backup 9886 but while that muffler is fast, it has poor fuel consumption compared with the 2031. I'm looking for a replacement for my JP but the prices range from $90-120. A friend recommended the Mega 2033 but I wonder how different they are. There seems to be very little info on pipes and their various features. RB has the best presentation of their pipes but other manufactures have been almost deliberately vague.

Anyone using the 2033? How is the low, mid, and high range? What about fuel consumption? I'm using a JP 21FX01 engine. There is about a $20-$50 price difference between the 2031 and 2033 depending on where you shop. Sure $20 doesn't sound like a lot but I wonder why JP should get more money for something that may be identical. Plus, for .12, one of the best mufflers I ever had was a NovaMega muffer. It was a very, very good muffler. I wonder if it's true for the Mega .21 mufflers.
