Wait awhile, Buddy, ive gone through 2 of them and had to send them back because of glitching problems. So much for no interference...

Been running it for a few Months so far, and I think its the best purchase I've made. I've run it with both electric and nitro with no glitching issues.

What did you guys put to cover the existing antenna hole on your radio?

The only you would probably fine one of these "old" versions, is thru a private sale - not a retail shop...
And, most of the original glitching problems were associated with the Airtronics/Sanwa version, not the futaba or KO ones
And, like Harry said, IT will be the best purchase you make for R/C racing...well except for maybe a starter box

Pity its not legal for use in the UK yet. I and many other have them and they are still in the box coz the paperwork is still to be done

I removed the original antenna from the radio as well.. my question was, what did you use to cover this hole?

I saw a post previously with a link to a company that makes a machined aluminum plug that screws into your old antena hole. It was for the M8 so I don't know if they make a futaba specific one. It looks like a short stubby antena when installed.
