Nitro motor problem need help
I have a hpi motor .15 and I recently started running it again and it seems like the fly gear is really rough and when I tired starting it up on full brake the servo didn't move at all but the motor ran away on me I stopped the fly wheel but now seems like SOMTHING is stuck and grinding inside and the fly wheel won't turn

Sounds like a bad servo or your linkage has come loose somewhere. Check to make sure the rod that connects to the carburetor is still connected.
#5
Charge the battery. If Steering works throttle servo bad. Since the engine hasn't been started a while, Remove engine and do maintenance on the clutch brgs & shoes.

Make sure your batteries are fully charged. Turn on all your electronics and "0" or "center" your throttle trim on your remote. verify that the linkage connecting your servo to your carb is properly attached. remove your air filter and look down the hole that you just uncovered (the carb throat). There should be a small opening. Apply throttle on your remote and check that the tiny opening gets larger. release the trigger and check that the hole gets smaller.

If the opening doesnt get larger and smaller smoothly and consistently: check that your throttle servo is moving when you pull and release the trigger. If the servo is not moving, try swapping the throttle and steering servo. has the problem moved to your steering now? if so, servo was probably bad so remove and replace the servo

Didnt realize you said your servo didnt move. DOH! well swap the seering and throttle servos. if your steering was fine before you swapped them and the problem doesnt change, it's either a receiver or transmitter problem
