Default Transponder

Whats up?
I just got my transponder in the mail...Where is a good place to put it...the manual clains that you should not put it near carbon...and I don't want to hang it off the little thing on the side of my car

Well, my whole car is carbon fiber...there is no way I can mount it without any connection iwth carbon fiber...LOL
Anyhow, I know you should follow their instruction, but I mounted mine above the front bumper on my HPI pro 4......even there are no direct opening underneath the AMB (bumper plate, bumper, then another plastic hard bumper, then lower bumper plate...then ground), I have never experience any disconnect or not counting issue....
About the best location of the AMB.................a little secret (not really, but I like it that way), mount it as far forward as possible.................when you are head to head photo finish at the line, guess the different between the one with the AMB on front and the other one with AMB on the middle or back of the car...?

Well then, I think that I will mount it on the front bumper of the body, lol...J/k

ok, well I am glad to know that the carbon does not effect it.

Yeah I have mine over my bumper and it works fine at RPR.

GREAT! Starts next Sunday the 10th
Track is open this weekend if you need to work on your setup. I should be there both days.
