Default Sow and Steady

Here is our site :

http://www.londonrcclub.com

Hey i run one way at front and semi solid ( a device that allows me to lock or loosen the effect of the bevals diff ) with standard stock pulley. Testing revealed that 16/19 conversion caused too much drive train drag, but 16/19 will pull round the corner quicker. Come down and race with us sometime...i will probably drop down to Aldershot sometime.... if there are enough of us...Have you raced at Brooklands ?

How many MTX3 Prospec do you guys have ? Is it necessary to have two cars ? 1 for play or practice, and another 1 for race only ?

Default Rubber/Rain Tires?

What do people use for running in the rain? Or at least a wet track? My local track doesn't dry very well so whenever it rains, unless the sun comes out the track stays slippery the whole day. I'd like to try something that people have had success with running in the rain, or at least a damp track. Any suggestions would help.

So having two cars is no no ..... yeah, i think you made your point : more spare parts and hop up options. Thanks Kev, sometimes I need to stop spending. It would be my third mtx3 if I buy again.

Gonzo, in my racetrack when the track is wet & slippery, we had to use softer foams, smaller pinion gears and softer springs, something like 1.6 diameter (F) and 1.5 dia. (R). Increase chassis height little bit more for more suspension action. If it rains heavily, we stop because it would be impossible to drive on foams and the air filter will be at risk.

Although it's fun running in rain, I suggest find other activities such as joking or chat with friends rather than trashing the car.

Yeah I know it's a pain...but it's possible, even in complete rain...look at these shots from the World Championship this year.

yeah, i was not happy with my times at all to tell you the truth. but i have to say that my bottom end was very rich, and was getting not punch at all. dj drove my car after the race and the first thing he said was that. also, my last race there wich was in november i believe i was hitting 17 second laps. also, as you know the track was bad. but oh well... next time. see you soon.

Kisslings but they only sell them overseas. They are great but expensive.

yep. they are great tires. tons of grip in the wet.

I just switched to Mugen for most of the coming year. Will be running something very special at the Euros. Watch for the pics from that event.
