Yes Mike, we have the servo connectors in stock at the store. For about $5 you can do three or four servos.
I'm heading to the track in a few minutes. If i get done in time I may stop by to get them and see how hard it is to change. Cause man are my wires long.

Ooops!

Your'e right about the one-way, but the brake disc can still be used as the MTX-3 has two separate discs sandwiching the aluminum "kung fu" star.

Speaking of brake discs, James just got some 3Racing #"MTX3-015 Brake disc for MTX3"...does anyone know if these are supposed to replace the stock discs, you need 2 of them? Or does this part replace the inner "star" coolinf fan part?

Default Chuck - 3Racing Brakes

Chuck....the 3racing disks are simply the metal disks....with slots cut....you need two of them and keep your stock kung-fu star....I cut my inner kung-fu star to match the slots....looks cooler...and lost about 1/2 a gram.... ....makes me WAY faster.... ....

Chaps,

Didn't have a terriffic day's racing, today. We think someone turned on a radio - car went full noise into the concrete gutter at the end of the straight - got a good 3 metres of air, though.
Anyway, bent chassis, busted top deck, broken plastic brace. It could have been a lot worse actually, and it has been a long time since we broke anything.

rjl supplied the spares, I did a rebuild, missed all the heats and Sam ran the final coming fifth. rjl was nearly as blistering as last meeting and won.

Sooooo . . . . . this looks like an excellent excuse to get a Mugen 4mm chassis, yeah?
Also is there any "brilliant" alternative to the carbon top deck - the stock one isn't wonderfull quality IMHO.
And who makes those neat carbon right side braces?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Default 0.8m gears......carbon brace

K-factory has a carbon right side brace......3-racing has a different top-plate....

You only need to change pinions and spurs to use the 0.8 gears., no other parts required.

Can someone post a good closeup shot of their rear suspenion? I just put my kit together and my rear suspension seems setup wrong. It seems like the shock bodies are touching the shock tower.

On my othe car, I did the same thing from the outside (shortening the servo wires). You can buy the any style servo connector unassembled (JR/Sanwa/Fut/KO Propo, etc.) and just trim the wire to length, add the pins to the ends of the wire and then insert the pins into the plug body. I did it this way because I thought it was easier than opening the servo case and having to unsolder/solder on the circuitry board-YIKES!

can someone please give a link to where i can get these pins. will they fit into the standard airtronics blue connector?I've been wanting to shorten my wires but did not want to open servo. thanks for your help..
