Default MTX-2

I have other cars that are pretty cool but I got to tell you every time I drive the little MTX-2 It puts a big smile on my face! The car has been destroyed twice both times it was blasting down the straight and hit a stalled car. (Which reminds me when you stall in the straight away shout out so the other drivers know to slow down trust me they won't get mad at you) It's 3 years old now but it can still pop off T.Qs And if it gets totaled again I will repair it. Can't say the same for the other cars.

Default Pulleys?

Basicaly I fit the adapter, the 16 touth pully and new shorter belt. Is this right?

Well basically the mesh is wrong somewhere. When I push the car along the ground the belt slips or clicks as if the one set of wheels is spinning faster than the other.

Am I missing a part of this conversion? Does anybody know what might be wrong?

Thanks

Hey Neo It sounds like you have your pulleys mixed up

Default thanks

thanks mckrooz....anyway the mtx3 is using dog bones all round and there is some amount of gap between the axle and wheel hex. r u using d/bones ... is this normal for mugens.

the wheel hex on this mugens is the aluminum type and a bit wide. what type of wheel hex and size r u using..thanks

one more thing does mugens have the problem of tires rubbing againts the rear hubs when using 30mm rears.

Any one know the angle of a countersink bit needed to produce countersink holes found on the underside of the mtx-3 chassis.

The solid adapter for the front diff-case (or rear) has no impact on your problem.......

If you have the 16-tooth pulley on the rear shaft and the 19-tooth pulley on the front shaft, along with the NOT-stock conversion belt.....there should be no problems.....Your front tires MUST be smaller than the rears now to keep both ends of the car rolling along at the same speed.....You are likely seeing that the rollout of the front is now higher than the rear if you didn't change the front-tire size to be approx 3.5mm smaller (see posts about 5-pages back)......simply put...now the front tires spin faster and you need smaller tires on the front to get back to an "even" drive between front and rear.......

There shouldn't be a problem with the tension on the belt being too loose....is there?

Default front one way

a freind gave me a used fr. one way.

i spin the left tires and its almost spin freely without any binding..but when i spin the right wheel it won't spin as freely as the other side..sort of the feeling of a very heavy diff oil spin...

since i have never use a front one way b4 i need to know if this is normal.

if not could it be repair or else...thank u very much.
