Hey fellas, I just ordered my MTX-3 this week. Does anyone have any building tips or knowledge of what to get for back up parts/ hop ups for this car? Does it work well right out of the box? If not whats the good set up.
Thanks to anyone who can help out.

If so, You can fit a Serpent link there... It's a little smaller than the 3-racing ones...
...cheers....

gentleman81,
They are talking about the 3Racing adjustable rear anti-swaybar. The MTX3 should be alright straight out of the box. Just take your time building and making sure everything moves smoothly. That was the advice my fellow mugen racers here told me.
If you can afford the teflon pads, they are worth the price. These pads don't have as hard of initial bite that the stock pads do. Makes driving with a front one way a little easier on braking sections of the track.
I'll have my car beginning of next week.

Will be getting the Prospec. Mugen just started shipping them out on Thrusday. You buy what you like and can afford at the time.
On the brakes. I presonally don't use brakes unless I majorly overshoot a corner, going into the pits, or carrying too much speed. With the stock pads on any car with a front one way you just dial out the brakes until you don't spin anymore. The teflon pads are also a little more consistant than the stock pads.

They also make the car easier to drive with the 1 way. I have a spare set (brand new) for sale cheap, PM me if interested.
i did sand the teflon pads a little, but i started to find that the teflon pad is a tad too gentle
Set up sheets?
Anyone have a link for blank set-up sheets? I found some on mugenracing.com but they're not blank. Hopefully someone here has got one.
