short track engine???
tight curves one maybe two straightaways but very fast, any suggestions on a motor that isnt overkill in the $$$ dept, but good enough to be competitive?

no rules
not a stricked track, 1/10 nitro and begginer, sportsman, and pro classes.
the guy that shreddedd the otherguys last week was running a g4 with a $150 nova he said so ports dont matter i just want the best i can get.
it would be nice to have something different tho, like a JP, or sirio. everyone is running novarossi here.
any info is helpful

Perhaps an RB V12 would suit, still a nova really but they look good. I use a Rody modified one but a novice would be well served with the standard donk.

If your looking for an easy motor to tune but still good on a small track and something you don't see everyday go with an OS TR
I'm running a RB X12 and it really rocks. As do most Rossi based motors. That's why people use it to race.
