Front belt is 201, side belt is 375(same as Kyosho overdrive belt), rear belt is 198 I think, this is same as many rear belts.

Default Traction Rolling

Hey people...

On the last major race I did, I had some problems with traction rolling. Even after widening the front end, hardening springs, tyres and bars, lowering the car, everything I have always been doing, with sucess, but this time I got no success. My car would still roll.

Any suggestions?

About belts, most belts are available from industrial belt suppliers. You just need to know the pitch and No. of teeth, they will usually cut them to width if you buy enough.

Not much left other than trottle control, and turn down your steering rate a little. Have you tested 0 droop, how small were the tyres?

Yeah... The droop was 0, i think...
The tyres were about 60mm at the start of a 30min semi...

The changes I thought about were the same as you did...
After the event I thought on everything and it was a huge learning...
Next time I'd better harden my rear sway bar so I could be able to set a smaller amount for dual-rate...

Any other suggestions?

What shore tires are you running. Go up on the tire shore rating.

I run pretty much the stock set-up and when the track is sprayed with a high traction compound (VHT). I just go to 42 or 45 shore tire all the way around on the car and it works fine. No traction rolling for me.

If you have the threaded crank, you need an SG one to fit the mugen. However, you can buy an adapter from Mugen which changes the thread to SG style
