I could be wrong...but I think the rranger is talking about spacing out the one way out-drive. Could work... except that there is a plastic spacer/seal already in most cars. So, I'm not sure if it'll be a good idea to have a copper gasket rubbing on a plastic spacer.
Anyhow... a question for my sifoo... I'm not interested in the car, but I do want to know your opinion on the new MTX3 rims/tires ??? Are they avail in HK yet. Any finally.... are they comparable in price w/ the old Fast tires? Thanks Moon!!!

the stock MTX3 tire is also made by GRP and they are 1mm offset. the tire has not yet available here.

Thanks Manticore.
How are the rims? They appear to be a lot stronger than some of the other GRP's. I don't mind the 1mm offset...just more pillow ball "coverage" in the arms. (for my RR) Thanks again.

Yes, that's exactly what I am talking about, but I don't understand what you mean plastic spacer, the added spacer direct contact the one way bearing with a metal housing, I don't see any plastic parts.

the spacer in that point will reduce the one-way roller coverage on the outdrive shaft unless the outdrive has much longer shaft inside the oneway.
The oneway out drive shaft is 13 mm long, and the one way bearing is 12 mm, except the housing, you add 2 mm spacer still keep the bearing cover the shaft completely. 'Know your car first' Yes, that's what Hpi telling us.

2mm Lexan for a Radio Plate. Not bad idea but will it be sturdy enough. I mean the flex will upset both your throttle linkages and the steering linkages and play havoc with the balance of the car.
