Salven admitted in his response letter to Josh C. that he did in fact screw up the chicane and had to slow which is why Josh hit him. ALL the rest of the complaining he did about Josh in his article on MyTSN was nothing more than "sour grapes"; Salven simply blaming others for the outcome of his mistake.

Fortunately he edited his original article to tell it more like it happened.

Those of you running the 5th body post, how far forward is it mounted? I've got some spare c/f I'm going to make a plate out of, but it looks like the post will end up at the bottom of the windshield. I'm not sure if this is legal?? A pic or 2 would be nice

Thank you... i used the A (low roll center) block yesterday and found that it was better for me through the chicanes, the car was more responsive through the chicanes...

i have only read a couple of pages of this thread so far, and i see that some1 has already asked this, but none answered, doesn't any1 change the roll center of the car? or were they just too busy smacking penguins?

Does anyone run the 4mm chassis? Trying to decide between a R40,710 or MTX3 ? Just wondering if its a necessaity?

It is not a necessity for me.
I have talked to pros and they said that they did not feel a differenece running the 4mm chassis.

i dont use it, and my car runs great. So IMO i dont think it is absolutely necessary to buy it.

I've tried them, did'nt really notice any advantage over running genuine mugen ones...So i've gone back to mugen ones coz they are cheaper.

Guys,

Can someone explain the Pro's/Con's or why I would want to use one over the other and for what types of tracks?

1. Clutch shoes - Black or Gray
2. Centrifugal Shoe - Stock or Light
3. Clutch spring - Stock or silver(heavy)
4. Brake pad - Black or Yellow

Also I noticed Swauger was using a Dark Blue spring, is there a part number for this?

Mark- As far as the clutch spring(silver) it gets more bite coming out of the corners. Same applies w/ the yellow brake pad, more bite, quicker stopping. Did u get the 3 yet? Its Justin L.

Hmm.....i'd say that the yellow pad actually gives less bite, but gives a much more progressive feel.....

1. the black is harder but not as grippy as gray. the gray wears faster. there is another optional pad which is red. good wear but grip as hard as grey.
2. the lighter the flyweight, the more rpm needed for the flyweight to push the clutch pad towards the bell.
3. the heavier the spring, the high rpm needed to make the clutch engage.
4. the stock black brake pad gives higher braking power but the yellow (teflon) one give milder and smoother braking action.

i hope this is not what you guys think when you got home from school!!!!!!
