it is adjusted correctely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes the 2spd. shoes in the housing.

haven't had that problem, either. I only put it backward once when building the car. MY FRIEND found that out because he couldn't adjust the 2-speed. Had to take it out and put it the correct way, no problem since.

I think I know what you meant now. Your 2-speed shoe did not retract back, thereby, they lock the whole housing.

Yes, I have seen that on other MTX-3 cars.

Check the bearing balls, make sure they're adjusted properly.

then the center srews are too tight therefore its not adjusted corectly!!

yesterday was the first time i ever ran my mtx-3 and when i would let of the brake it would spin out like crazy i think it might be the brakes because when i let off the thotal the brakes would drag do u think that is what could be causing it to do that

did you sand the brake pads like the instruction manual told you to?

if you didnt, then the brakes will drag on the pads

yep sand the pads or fit a one peice disk!

On the subject of pads,what does everyone use to bond the teflon pads,i got a pair and i'm going to put them in later this week?

Uhm.... probably went far those high temp days, probably went up to 3 or 3 1/4 turns in the low end, haven't checked, but will do for you, high end screw was about your adjustment, will check too.
