Ha ha ha now you can't run in ROAR races with the engine heh. Very cool though that they are putting a more expensive engine in for the first few kits.

makes me wish i had splurged and gotten the kit with engine........

anyway, talked to mugen today......first about the front dif not comin with the gears, i thought i was going to have to buy somethin extra, but since im using the oneway, im home free...

ive been makin a list of things i need to buy.....i had foams on the list, but after i talked with mugen, i was told that faoms come with the kit with no engine also......i was under the impression that it was going to be like the mtx-2 where if u got the base kit, u needed to buy them.......that saves me fifty dollars!!! horray

should be getting one soon we have to wait for them to reach the east coast its killing me i have no patience

i think any type of foam tire can be used but if you want to run 30mm you need to use 2 degree offset jaco makes them and is what i plan to use untill fast tires become available grp tires are really good i dont understand the complaints they last much longer than the proline and trc tires i had to use last year and i rarely chunk one

hoping mugen comes out with more gearing options just make more clutch pinions and i would be happy at nats i used my ntc3 because it had the necessary gear now i wished i hadnt i may have been slower with my mugen but i wouldnt have spent the whole trip wrenching

earlier in this thread there was alot of talk about ntc3 had one sold it broke alot the factory guys at nats(i was there) had some sort of black chassis(i think) new pipe and new tank the replacement for the tank they said repeatedly had no problems with and those were just the things i noticed probably more and after the 45min main their cars were ruined all of them were falling apart and these were the best drivers in the country alot of people around here have them like them etc good because i will be passing them in the main after 5 min when their car falls apart sorry jack

kawahara has hop ups for MTX3 already but some of them are really not necessary such as alloy pulley.

RC fiend, I see, thanks for the clarification. I wonder why Mugen decided to do that? I guess its just a little pirk for the people that preorderd or were the first in line. Good luck with the car!!!!

Manti: of course.. i won't buy trinity either...

on the other hand, i don't really care for AL pulleys. but this time maybe different. because MTX-3 pulleys have 2 parts, one is the plastic pulley itself and a AL holder which the plastic pulleys go into.
i don't know if MTX-2 has the same thing or not.

i got mine already.. where is your?

MTX2 use cross pin to hold the pulley. not good design and MTX3 has fixed this problem.

I will have my "CHEAP price" MTX3 next week together with some hop ups (not kawahara) such as steel handle bar, mid hollow steel shaft, mid alloy upper deck support etc etc.
