We will have the speed trap set up on the long straight during practice and racing. We usually see the GT cars reach speeds in the mid 50's mph range. With the talent for this race I wonder if we will see a 60 mph speed on the long straight? I sure hope so!

GT results from this weekend's FORGASS race at Homestead

The lap times were faster than last month's and it looks like the racing will be very intense this weekend. Records may fall! Safe travels to everyone making their way to Homestead.

I have caught my breath after directing the FORGASS Race at Homestead this past weekend. Joaquin said and I agree the track should be very fast for the Pan American International 1/8 GT Grand Prix this coming weekend.

We will have cooler temperatures which usually equates to more horsepower and even more traction. If this holds true we could see some record breaking laps from the great group of racers that will be attending.

For those of you traveling please be careful and I hope your trips are pleasant and drama free.

GT Nation you can look forward to one of the best events of the year!

Default Rules

All the rules are important. The most common cases for disqualification are the following.

Rule 1.1 : minimum weight without fuel is 3500 grams.

Rule 2.8.1 : wing can be no higher than the highest point of the roof line.

Rule 10.1 : maximum fuel tank capacity is 150 cc including fuel line and fuel filter

We will have the tech area open on Friday afternoon for pre tech to check for compliance.

Default One last rule added.

There is one rule that was left out but is probably the most important rule of all at Homestead RC Raceway.

Please have a good time with all of your fellow racers and have FUN!
