changing power curve using different pipes
So I would like to hear from some of you that have experimented with different tuned pipes and how it has affected (good or bad) the power curve output.
Personally, I race a FT NTC3 and run either a Nova MT12 or a Sirio .12 Evo 2...both with the Associated FT pipe & header.
The Sirio cranks out more top end power, but has such a steep curve (even with a ton of negative expo in the radio), it's hard to drive smooth. The MT12 pumps out less power, but with a smooth, linear power curve, I am able to put down good, reliable lap times.
If you have feedback on how different pipes have made a change (or not), it would be greatly appreciated. Also, it would be worth knowing if they'er ROAR legal.
thanks-
