Andrew,

You'll find it very similar to FW05-R. You can also use a few parts from FW05-R like rear arms and up rights!

Hi all,

I`m finally going to put my TG 10 MK2 together i just bought a Futaba 3 PKS and for engine i got a very good deal on a NIB O.S.12 TR(P)10J.

All i need now is the pipe and header for the O.S. and servos any suggestions on these two items?.

As a body shell i will be using the HPI Toureza painted body for my car.

Question:Can i use the Spektrum A6020 MG Digital Hi Torque servo for steering and throttle on my TG 10?.I`m asking because they are really ment for airplanes.

Thanks.

This OS pipe should work for you

Servos should be just fine.

I stare at mine from time to time. Does that count? Lol.

I even wonder if it would have any collector status given how Tamiya kits seem to greatly appreciate if its a limited kit.

My local track closed so I no longer have any urge to race nitro on road anymore.

I don't know how competitive it is against the current crop of touring chassis, but I know it is still a good competitive car at smaller club tracks with the right engine. I was working on making mine into a nitro GT car (got a BMW GT body for it). Was thinking on making a new, lesser expensive class in my area but outdoor racing has pretty much died off except for the state series and attendance there has been very low. There may be something coming down the pipe in my area to revive asphalt racing so I will hold on to mine for now.

About to put an engine back in mine and make it a rubber tire 200mm GT car. Might not be a class but sure would look cool with a body on it that spectators recognize.

I believe the gears are slightly different and probably will not fit. I have both a Mk1 and Mk2 and give me a few days and I can compare and tell you.

Almost got my car back together. Putting an OS .12TZ blue head back in the car using HPI 26mm X-Pattern rubber tires. Just need to find a 200mm GT body for it now. I think this would be a good club track nitro class to recruit some racing troops.
