I plan on going, but we have so much going on here at CVEC, since taking over. We'd love to show off our new ROAR legal pipes at the race, but with so much going on with new products, I'm not positive.

Will try though.

Rain , blah blah blah , the forcast for this area has a minumum of 30 percent chance of rain every day of the year . You have a plain ticket , use it . If it does rain it will only last a couple of minutes in most cases , it's TEXAS , it's 90+ degrees out , it will dry up in minutes. This has been the forcast for the past 5 years . I can only remember 2 days that we did not get to race total in that 5 years. In other words , everbody should show up.

That is the same forecast that every city in Texas has this time of year.I have been going to this race since 1990, I have seen rain ,hail and even a tornado,I can not remember ever not getting most of the race in.

Good luck..........hope everyone gets to race. My vacation days these days are far to precious to sit in the rain for 4 days and pay $1,000 dollars to do it. (plane, rental car, hotel) Well that pretty much covers the G, tires, parts, motors. Believe me all of this is worth it if I knew I was going to get to race and I didn't run the Biggie last year but, it is just alot cheaper and less time off of work to go to Cali or Vegas where I know it hardly ever rains. Sad thing is I allready paid for a pit space and two entrees that I am sure I won't get back. Oh well, maybe next year.

Thanks YBSLOW -

You just increased my odds of winning those great door prizes -- anyone else backing out too? Thanks in advance
