Default BMT is back in 1:8

...with the 984, I hope this is a sign of things to come. I am not sure of all the details but pics are on Redrc

I am pretty excited to see what rolls out of their R&D and production and wish them all the best.

Not sure if it has been reported or posted yet, so if so I appologize.

BMT back in 1/8. It is nice to see some new manufacturers in I.C. With KM and now BMT joining back in I hope this brings some new interest back into 1/8.

The car looks like it has been made or highly influenced by Capricorn which is a good platform to begin with. Similar parts with the exception of a few things like the anodizing and battery tray, front bumper. Either way it is no different than Picco making engines for so many different companies which I think is a good thing for racing.

I am sure the car will do well. It is nice to see the BMT name back in on road. Maybe Picco will get inspired and develop a new Integra...

There has been one for years. It's called the Shepherd Velox V8.

Love to see BMT is back. With their rallygame having some visable relations with the old Active cars I was still hoping a new onroad would have the same to keep a bit of the old identity but so far I can see none. Nevertheless it looks like a nice car.

Not clear to see but to me it looks like it has a one piece bulkhead holding the rear shaft and the gearbox shaft.

I hope that this "Run of the Mill" Chassis is an entry and will be refined with fresh "BMT" specific ideas and become more visibly recognizable as an BMT, as the Shepherd looks like a Shepherd etc.

I would like to know though if any of the old original BMT employees are involved with this?

They should use some green colored plastics like the old models.

They all look basically the same. Just like every other class has cars that all look the same. Every car out there is just a further development of the Vector.

Hell, the Serpent is probably the closest to a somewhat unique car we have right now.

It will come down to street price n support at least for the u.s market
Prices of kits are not going down so if this helps bring down the price it's good for the consumer

I am sure it will take some time before it hits our shore. I know before Garen took on the distribution of Motonica, a few racers ordered direct from Italy, which is quite expensive. I guess it will take some time, as BMT does not have their new site up and running yet.

I can't find anything on the net about this car other than the few pics posted on redrc by IRacing.it which doesn't list it anywhere on their website?
