For what its worth, Very good idea, credits for you.

Something to keep in mind, just because there are not many car designers posting on RCTech, that doesn't mean they aren't reading it every day. If you post it on rctech, everyone will see it, including people with the equipment and finances to actually make it. So if you don't want it stolen, don't post it for the world to see.

On another note, various different position dependent variable damping systems have been around for over 20 years (Paragon had one back in the 80s or early 90s and I think MIP had something like it as well). So why haven't we all been running them? Because they don't work. Position variability isn't what we want on a race car. What we need is VELOCITY variability and direction independence.

I thank you for supporting me, but I have to explain :

- I said it's my system because I appears I'm the only one to have the proof of a date about this idea in september 2011, even if I have thought to this
idea at the end of 2010. Then it appears some other designers had the same idea before, and it's possible.
- I said in the post about the idea :"an idea for an other piston system", that I don't want to work anymore on this part, because it needs too much time and tests to validate a design.
- I said I will be very pleased to see any famous brand trying to make this system for real.
- I said I didn't want to get a patent for this system, because I have not the financial power to make many prototypes only for this special part.

Asking money or something like this, for this system, has never been and will never be a purpose. I'm very happy to see the French Brand RB with this system for real now, even if they copy somebody, even if it's me !
I just wanted to move offroad RC forward with some new ideas, and it's because I posted this idea on this famous forum. It's real pleasure for me to see my ideas are not so bad, that's all.

So please, ioxqq, don't post any thread like this one, because if I said it's my system, it's because I can prove a date and say : I have the proof, it's the difference with the other designers. But they are maybe right when they say : we though to this system too, whatever the date. Nobody know now who had this idea the first.
If I published this idea, it's not for asking money after, I don't see this world like that.

asw7576, I have never seen the system you show because I have not search in this direction. I though the moutain bikes forkes and motorcyle shock were too complicated to find here a solution for our RC cars. I just though to the Paragon system, and had search with a pen and the paper. I begin to search a system on 2010, and at the end of this year, one day, I find this system. But I decided to wait before to publish it. In september of 2011, I made a formation for industrial designer, then I drew it with CAD.
